Great Depression, Franklin Delano Rosevelt was President of the USA.
Lou Gehrig was voted MVP in Major League Baseball. The highest levels
of unemployment was rampant in USA and Canada. In 1932 a company
called OAKLAND MOTOR CARS was producing there PONTIAC vehicles.
Named after the great Chief Pontiac
of the Ottawa Nations. This original
NEO-CLASSIC Motor Cars were the
unique engineering and combination with Automation & Carriages. Only
72,000 vehicles were produced . It would prove during these difficult times to be the last year of Oakland Motor Cars and the birth of the PONTIAC COMPANY for General Motors in 1933.
At Dromoland we have one of the few
